Evening & Weekend GP Appointments Now Available - known as Enhanced Access

Local GP practices have teamed up to improve the way we provide weekend and evening appointment for our patients.

This new service began on Saturday 1^st October 2022 and it and will mean that most people will be able to book weekend and evening appointments closer to where they live. For our patients appointments will be provided at Burncross Surgery in Chapeltown and Fairlawns Medical Centre in Hillsborough. 

Initially appointments can be booked by you via our reception team, but there will soon be the option for patients to book direct online and through NHS 111.

Fairlawns Medical Centre, 621 Middlewood Rd, S6 1TT Tue, Wed, Fri 6.30 - 9.30pm

Booking an Appointment

You can book appointments for these services through your usual GP practice or by contacting 111 when your GP practice is closed. Your GP practice will be able to view all available appointments and book you in. Your appointment will be at one of the satellite hubs (which are all existing GP practices). Appointments are also available on Bank Holidays, however they may not be available at all sites.
